Modbus Protocol Simulator Overview::

This software product provides a Modbus protocol simulation that allows the user to test his SCADA software without having actual Modicon PLC hardware or other equipment that supports the Modbus protocol attached to the SCADA computer com port

This software supports both Mod RTU & ModASCII protocols and acts a a Modbus slave device. It is most helpful in bench testing a radio based SCADA system using Modbus protocol. RS232 communications is used between the SCADA software and our Modbus simulator program. The diagram below shows the two methods of connecting the SCADA & Modbus simulator software.

Since our Modbus simulator has a built in data analyzer, it can be very helpful in bench testing communications between a SCADA system and remote PLCs or RTUs or devices.
