Modems :: for use with SCADAPhone
SCADAPhone uses a standard voice modem. For all of SCADAPhone features to work
properly, the modem needs to support simultaneous voice-data functions. The
modem can be either internal or external. We recommend use of an external
modem for two reasons:
Reason #1 :: Operators can see the status LED indicators on an external
modem to verify that all is well.
Reason #2 :: If the SCADA computer goes down, an external modem can be more
readily moved to a backup computer.
The following modems have been certified to work with SCADAPhone and are
currently available.
